Five11 Coaching Notes – April 2011

“…For  if you are breathing,

  then

  you

  are

  still

  alive.

And  if you are still alive,

  that

  means

  you

  haven’t

  accomplished

  what

  you

   were

  placed

  on

  the

  earth

  to

  do.

  If

  you

  haven’t

  accomplished

   what

  you

  were

  put

  on

  the

  earth

  to

  accomplish,

  this

  signifies

   that

  your

  life’s

  very

  purpose

  has

  yet

  to

  be

  fulfilled.

  If

  your

  very

   purpose

  has

  yet

  to

  be

  fulfilled,

  that

  is

  proof

  that

  the

  most

   important

  part

  of

  your

  life

  remains

  ahead

  of

  you.”

Food. Overweight. Diet. Exercise. Unhealthy. Disease. Moodiness. Depression. Hope.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t like talking about anything on that list, except for the last item – hope. Even now, 45 pounds lighter than I was, I still don’t want to talk about it. Let me deal with my own battles in my own mind with food and my emotions. But, there is that one word – hope. I have learned over the past months that many folks feel bound in their hopelessness. And, whether it is Take Shape for Life, exercising, cutting sugars, etc., they want hope. Hope that they won’t always be winded at the top of the stairs and hope that they’ll be able to play tag with their grandchildren. And, isn’t that hope that is worth sharing? I think so. Share it with those you know that you can thrive in life – not just survive.

“Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up…” 1 Thess. 5:11
